Terms and Conditions


Lessons are £10 and are monthly (pay for how many lessons are in that month) Payments are to be made one week before lessons are due to start again after each half term to keep your place. If you wish to leave us just let us know at the earliest convenience.

Payments to be made for the upcoming month by the 30th/31st of each month.

 

 

Customer Information

Customer Information’ Terms and Conditions

As your child’s parent or guardian, it is your responsibility to:

- Notify us of any medical conditions that your child has

- Ensure that all medications for your child are brought along to classes

- Ensure that your emergency contact details are up to date

- We aim to make our classes available to all. We ask that you notify us before booking a class or trial if your child needs any additional support. This will allow us to discuss your child’s needs.

- We will only share your child’s information with staff at Kickstart Swimming Academy.

 

Term Fees

 ‘Upfront Term Fees’ Terms and Conditions

- When booking a class, bookings are made monthly through the class4kids app.

- All fee payments should be made at the time of booking

- If your child joins part way through a term, we will charged for how many weeks left in that month or half term which ever you decide to opt in for.

- You will be notified of new term payments 2 weeks before the new term starts

- If you want to pay via monthly payments, you must speak to us before the new term

starts

 

If you aren’t using a booking system you may want to include additional terms and conditions

like the ones below

- All fees should be paid 1 week before the term start date (unless you’ve opted for

monthly fees)

- We will contact you 2 weeks after the term begins to remind you your

payment is still outstanding. If payment is not made 4 weeks after the term start, you will be asked to pay before the next session starts or will not be aloud to partake.

Monthly Subscription/Payment

- If you wish to pay via monthly subscription, please notify us before the start of each

term

- All monthly subscriptions are collected on the 1st of each month

- If you wish to cancel your monthly payments, please let us know 30 days before

your next payment is due.

- If you need to update your payment details, please email us at kickstartswimmingacademy@gmail.com and we will send you information regarding the matter.

- We will communicate with you after 7 days if payment has not been made. We will

attempt to call and email you to check if details need updating.

- If payment is not made 10 days after we’ve communicated the

missed payment(s), your place will be cancelled and your child removed from

the class.

- If you fail to make regular monthly payments, we will try to come up with an arrangement or you will be asked to leave.

Trials

 ‘Trial’ Terms and Conditions

- If your child is attending our classes for the first time, they are entitled to 1 trial

classes.

- Once you have trialled classes at our club, you cannot try the same class again at a

later date should you chose not to join straight away.

- Your child can trial a different class at our club as per the terms and conditions

outlined above.

 

 

Cancellations and Refunds

- If you cancel your class before the new term begins, you will receive a full refund for your term payments.

- If you miss a class, we do not offer refunds or makeup classes unless it is a mitigating circumstance. If you get in Contact with us we can decide this.

 

Attendance

 ‘Attendance’ Terms and Conditions

- A responsible parent or guardian must contact us if your child cannot attend a class

for any reason

- If your child doesn’t attend a class after 3 consecutive weeks without any contact

from a parent or guardian, we have the right to remove them from the class list.

- If we, the club, need to rearrange a class due to staff sickness, health epidemic,

venue maintenance issue or any other unforeseen circumstance, we will re-arrange this session*

*This session may take place on a different day/date, or at a different venue. We will email/ring/text to you with the details.

 

Feedback and Complaints

Example ‘Feedback and Complaints’ Conditions

- We take all feedback and complaints very seriously

- If you wish to make a complaint, please make this in an email to kickstartswimmingacademy@gmail.com.

Although you can speak to your child’s coach about any issues or concerns you have, if you wish to have your complaint addressed, it MUST be made in email.

- We will look at your complaint and get back to you with an initial response within 3-5 working days.

- We aim to fully resolve your complaint before the next class takes place. However, it may take longer depending on the issue you’ve raised. We take complaints on a case-by-case basis and will discuss specific timescales with you if we cannot resolve this within 7 days.
